Danielle McCown is a senior and President of the Vagabond Players, and she loves to dance. When she's not choreographing the musical or an odd little dance number for a Shakespeare, the world is her dance floor, be it the classroom, hallway, or outdoors. Although her love for bodily motion is immense, it never obstructs her passion for the Vagabonds: ever since freshman year, Danielle has worked hard for the fantastic organization. A very varied Vagabond, her favorite roles have been the logical and suave Juror #8 in Twelve Angry Jurors and the well-typecasted prosti-- excuse me, Courtesan in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Her value is not limited to the stage, however: in addition to these and other scintillating performances, she has done her share in costumes, sound, and, of course, choreography. Her most revered facet of the Vagabonds is their ability to produce spectacular shows despite severely low funding and, occasionally, expectations. After high school, she is seriously considering going to college, where she would like to study foreign people, languages, relations, and everything un-American. But she's not a terrorist, I promise.
David Vreeland is a junior and Vice President of the Vagabond Players. In theater since his freshman year, his talents range from pelvic-thruster to beard fiend to all around manly man. A dedicated Vagabond through and through, David has been involved in every show since his freshman year; from lead roles to followspot, he always finds a way to enjoy himself in the theater. His three favorite roles have been the jolly and bearded father, Leonato, in Much Ado About Nothing, the confused Babylonian worker, Cannaphlit, in Babel's in Arms and the forgetful and reserved Englishman, Mr. Martin, in the Bald Soprano. His favorite aspect of the Vagabonds is the connection between all the members. That's the force that keeps everyone coming back; it's the fuel that feeds the performances; it's how they turn an inner city school into a venue for artistic excellence. You have to be a Vagabond to know it, but once you're with them, you simply feel the energy flow. After high school if he is not dead from his 5 gazillion (approximately) AP classes, David plans to attend the California Institute of Technology and reinvent the internet.
Valerie Cline is a sophomore and the Historian for the Vagabond Players and has been involved in four vagabond performances so far. She also traveled to Scotland with the vagabonds for the fringe festival.
Michael Muller is junior and the Webmaster/Secretary for the Vagabond Players. He edits the website when they tell him to. Yes, the website that you are reading right now. Cool, huh? Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool myself. Just so you know, Danielle wrote David's bio and David wrote Danielle's, not me.
